В комплекте была уплотнительная лента для резьбы, ей пришлось воспользоваться, сама гайка немного неплотно садится. В последнее время вода из крана стала немного ржавой, вроде бы фильтр справляется полностью. Насчет мягкости воды сложно сказать, может слегка мягче. Изготовлен качественно.
